Adding a simple product
Log in to your store's dashboard. Not sure how? Follow our login guide.
In the dark menu on the left, hover over Products and click Add New.
Type the name of your product into the first box, labelled Product name.
In the large box below, write a description of the product. This is the main information customers will read, so make sure it covers everything they need to know.
On the right, find Product image and click Set product image.
Choose an image you've already uploaded, or use the Upload files tab at the top to add a new one from your computer.
Click the image to select it, then click Set product image in the bottom right.
To show more photos in a gallery on the product page, click Add product gallery images and repeat steps 6–7.
Under Product categories, tick every category the product belongs in. This decides where it shows up in your shop.
Need a new category? Click + Add new category, type its name, choose a parent category if it sits inside another one, then click Add new category.
Scroll down to the Product data section and enter the product's price in Regular price.
Scroll back to the top and click Publish. Your product is now live in your shop.
Adding a product with options
Use this when a product comes in different options, such as sizes or colours. Start by following steps 2–10 above to add the name, description, images and categories.
In Product data, change the dropdown from Simple product to Variable product.
Click the Attributes tab, then click Add to create a new option.
In Name, type what the option is called – for example Colour or Size. Customers will see this on the product page.
In Values, type each choice separated by a straight line, like Red | Green | Blue. (The | key is usually next to Z – hold Shift and press it.)
Click Save attributes. Repeat steps 15–17 if you need another option, such as both size and colour.
Click the Variations tab, choose Create variations from all attributes from the dropdown and click Go. This creates every combination for you.
Click Edit on a variation to open its details.
Enter the Regular price for that variation. Repeat steps 20–21 until every variation has a price.
Scroll back to the top and click Publish to put your product live.
